Lecture with Kim Kristensen: Follow me
The ability to take the lead when it counts
“You must love your employees. If you show that in words and actions, then they will follow you through fire and water.” Kim Kristensen
Kim Kristensen has been in the most demanding leadership situations. As an officer, he has led Danish soldiers at war multiple times and as a result been in situations where decisions were a matter of life and death. He has following used his leadership experiences in the corporate world, local government, in diplomacy, and as current Master of Ceremonies for the Danish Royal family.
As a leader, you must have the courage, especially during difficult times, to lead from the front and say: Follow me! “The power of leading by example is strong”, says Kim Kristensen. You must take the lead and, in doing so, you build trust and credibility among your employees, so that they know that you are with them – not just for the victory speeches, but also during the hardest challenges you will be confronted with. Based on his own experiences, Kim provides you with a number of efficient leadership tools, in order for you to create a unique strategy focusing on a clear direction, high performance and the ability to create the dream team. This is the foundation for world-class leadership. “Follow me” is an encounter with Rambo-leadership as well as robot-like discipline. “You must love your employees”, he says. Because, ultimately your employees are the ones who will be making the results. Only when they experience your solicitude are they willing to go through fire and water for you.
Follow me can also be undertaken as a 3-hour workshop. Read more here.
