Et foredrag om, hvordan du bliver mere kreativ

Oplev en af Danmarks mest karismatiske ledere, når han udfordrer jer til at blive mere kreative. Alle kan blive det. Og vi skal alle blive det.

Kreativitet er kommet for at blive. Dét at være opfindsom og kunne improvisere er ikke længere en luksus for de få, men en opgave for de mange. I Danmark findes efterhånden ganske få jobs, hvor alle arbejdsgange er fastlagt på forhånd, og hvor rutineprocedurer er hovedreglen. Det opportunistiske menneske, der ser muligheder, er blevet idealet i takt med, at videnssamfund erstatter eller supplerer industrisamfund. Det udfordrer os. I Danmark har vi få naturlige ressourcer og et højt lønniveau. Vi kan ikke konkurrere på lav løn eller håbet om uanede naturressourcer. Vi skal kunne noget andet. Vi skal blive mere kreative.

Et bud på en levedygtig fremtid er, at vi fastholder og udvikler en tradition for at tænke nyt, organisere arbejdet fornuftigt og udvikle nye produkter. Vi skal fastholde og øge vores kreative og innovative potentiale. Sidstnævnte kræver investering, forskning, god infrastruktur, ledelse og organisering, der gør, at vi kan omsætte idéer til konkrete produkter, der kan sælges. Men vi ved ikke nok om kreativitet, der er et væsentligt element i innovationsprocesser. For de fleste fremstår kreativitet som en lidt mystisk, uhåndgribelig og sjælden størrelse. I dette foredrag er det vores ambition at åbne kreativitetens sorte boks. Vi lever nemlig stadig med en række myter om kreativitet. En af disse kendte myter er, at kreativitet er forbeholdt de få, ikke kan læres, alene er den kreative eners bedrift og i øvrigt ikke har noget med almindelige menneskers liv at gøre.

Dette foredrag handler om, at vi alle kan blive mere kreative. Til gavn og glæde for os selv, vores kolleger, virksomheder, Danmark og hele verden. Kreativitet og innovation er fremtidens helt afgørende vækstfaktorer.

A lecture about how to become more creative

Experience one of the most charismatic Danish leaders when he challenges you to become more creative. Everyone can become more creative. And we all must become more creative.

Creativity is here to stay. To be inventive and to improvise is no longer a luxury for the few, but a task for the many. There are very few jobs left in Denmark and elsewhere where workloads are defined in advance, and where routine procedures is the regular custom. The opportunistic individual has become the ideal of our time since a knowledge-driven society has replaced the industrial society. This change challenges us. Denmark has few natural resources and high wages. We cannot compete on low wages or the promise of unlimited natural resources. We must find something else to bring to the table. We need to become more creative.

To attain a sustainable society in the future, we must maintain and develop a tradition for innovative thinking, organise work sensibly and become even better at developing new products. Most predictions for the Danish business sector reveal that we must to develop and increase our creative and innovative potential in these changing times. The latter requires investment, research, good infrastructure, management and organisation in order to turn ideas into tangible products to be sold. However, we do not know a whole lot about creativity. Although an important factor in innovation processes, creativity is often imagined as a mysterious, elusive and rare thing. In this lecture, we hope to open the box to our creativity, to demystify society’s myths about creativity – because we still have a great deal of myths about creativity. For example, the myth that creativity is reserved for the few and something that cannot be taught, something just for “creative people”, and sometime that does not happen to “ordinary” people.

This lecture seeks to debunk these myths and argues that it is possible for all of us to become more creative. For the benefit of yourself, your colleagues, your company, Denmark and the whole world. Creativity and innovation in combination is tomorrow’s crucial growth factor.
